Some remodels can completely transform the way a home is lived in and enjoyed.  Changing even a small portion of the home can have a large impact. Such is the case for this remodel of a kitchen and patio for a home in the Broadmoor area of Colorado Springs. The old kitchen was cramped and dated with no clear connection to the rear yard or patio. By expanding the kitchen into the previous eating area and crating a new eating area into added space, the patio and yard became fully integrated with the home. This remodel also added a much-needed covered area for outdoor dining and enjoyment of the patio and is accessed via a pair of french doors.  This allows the patio, kitchen and eating area to flow into each other and work together.
